The problem
When I sat down with the team in April 2026, three things kept going wrong.
- Nobody could see which lunch or dinner was already sponsored, across two halls and three meals a day.
- Flour, oil, adult diapers and other everyday supplies kept running short, because supporters didn't know what was needed.
- People who promised to drop off goods were tracked only in phone calls and memory.

What I noticed
What I built
Three ways to give (items, meals and money) and one calendar behind them that donors and staff both book into.

How it works
See what's needed this week
Each item shows this week's need and how much is still missing, with round amounts like 1, 5 or 10 kg. Pay online, or pledge to bring it yourself, with free pickup.

Sponsor a meal
A calendar shows which of each day's six meals are still free, across the Old Age Home and the Mahila Ashram.

Pick meals, pay once
Choose meals across different dates and pay for all of them together.

Or simply donate
Amount first. PAN and address are optional, only needed for an 80G receipt.

Behind the scenes
Staff add phone and walk-in bookings to the same calendar, so a meal can't be booked twice. The board sees money received and what's still short, without being able to change anything.
Where it is now
Live since 10 September 2026. In its first month the home raised over ₹45,000 online, every contribution came with a receipt, and staff entered 42 phone and walk-in bookings into the same calendar.
Recorded payments, not a bank reconciliation. From Moksha's first-month report.
What I'd do next
- Keep giving going after launch week. Most of the first week's money came in the first three days. Reminders for birthdays and anniversaries, the reasons people sponsor meals, are the obvious next step.
- Fix the checkout drop-off. A UPI-first payment step and a clearer message when a payment fails.
- Proper logins. Individual logins for board members, and an OTP for donors looking up their bookings.
